Trenton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Trenton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have been going to this place for few years and I have always had great experience with the food but this time was different. I ordered two chicken cheesesteaks, one order of samosas and crispy chicken w/rice for myself and the family. My mother and I got terribly sick - by that I mean we were vomiting, had diarrhea, and experienced weakness due to dehydration for days after we consumed their food. My mother had the chicken cheesesteak and I had the crispy chicken w/ rice. I am not sure if the sauce/condiments used in the food were stale or the food was old and had been reheated/prepped for a while. Who knows. All I know is I’m writing this on my 4th day of recovering. Please make sure the food is safe for consumption especially since your customer base may include elderly or nursing mothers.

Flavor-packed and worth every bite! We ordered the 2 Mixed Platter and the Philly Cheese Steak, and both were absolutely on point. The Mixed Platter came loaded with perfectly seasoned gyro and chicken over rice, with fresh salad and that creamy, flavorful white sauceβ€”so satisfying! It was a great portion and packed with flavor in every bite. The Philly Cheese Steak was also a hitβ€”melty cheese, tender meat, and the bread was soft with just the right amount of crunch. You can tell they put care into making everything fresh. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were more than fair for the quality and quantity of food. Definitely a go-to spot when you’re craving something hearty and delicious. Highly recommend!

We wanted Mediterranean food one evening. After some web searching, we decided to order food from here using Grubhub, because of very good rating and reasonable prices. We got a lentil soup, 2 chicken gyros, a spinach platter and a monster platter. The decision to get food from there turned out to be correct one. The food arrived quickly, was cheap and plentiful and was very tasty. We were quite happy with the order. Would gladly order from there again.

I went to Gyro Express during a recent visit to Trenton, NJ, and it exceeded all my expectations! Walking into the place, I was immediately greeted by Rony who’s welcoming and chill. The service was quick and attentive. I had the falafel platter the portion size was generous, making it an excellent value for money. Gyro Express is the go-to spot for Mediterranean cuisine, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, even if they're just passing through. It's a true hidden gem in Trenton!
